One thing I learned about copyright is that it’s basically there to protect people’s original work, even if it feels annoying sometimes. A lot of YouTubers I watch always talk about getting copyrighted, and it used to seem kind of evil or unfair, like companies were just trying to take their videos down for no reason. But now I get why it happens. Creators deserve credit for their work, and copyright makes sure other people aren’t using their music, clips, or ideas without permission. It still feels frustrating when my favorite YouTubers get hit with claims, but it makes more sense now that I understand the purpose behind it.
